Ralph A Fah, 74, Cooperstown, ND, died Friday, March 23, 2018 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo surrounded by his family.
Ralph was born in Ramsey County to Emil and Katheryn (Kraft) Fah on September 20, 1943. He was the youngest of eight children.
Ralph's parents bought a farm in the Deer Creek area of Minnesota where he attended school. He later quit school to help on the family farm. Ralph worked as a diesel mechanic before he began driving truck coast- to- coast for many years.
Ralph loved to spend time in the summer fishing, deer hunting in the fall, and ice fishing in the winter. Ralph always had an affection for animals, specifically dogs. He would play with them whenever and give them his full attention. He also loved being with his family and helping his son-in-law, Robert, on the farm with calving, feeding, or bailing.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Katheryn; brother, Emil Fah Jr.; sisters, Anna Gedde, Mary Weber, and Virginia Crosgrove; grandson, Robbie Geiger; and son-in-law, Craig Scheer.
Ralph is survived by his brother, Virgil Fah; sisters, Irene Johnson and Ethel Wickstrom; children, Tammy (Robert) Geiger, Cooperstown, ND; Ralph (DeAnna) Fah, Becker, MN; Tanya Scheer, Fisher, MN; Tina (Greg) Frigaard, Dalton, MN; grandchildren Tiffany (Jon) Anderson, Brian Fah, Kristen (Brittany) Fah, Ashley, Carlie, and Bailee Scheer, Logan and Amber Frigaard; great-grand daughters, Avery and Georgia Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
