Lisbeth Ann Clemo (Kit), 61, of Valley City succumbed peacefully to cancer while at her home, while receiving Hospice care on July 27, 2020. Lisbeth was born in Hankinson, North Dakota on January 1st, 1959. She graduated Sargent Central School in 1977 and went on to college at VCSU for communications, business and education. While attending VCSU, Lisbeth participated in team sports of volleyball and billiards. She belonged to Sisters of the White Star, a sister organization to Sig Ma Nu. She then went on to be a caregiver in assisted living centers in Carrington ND and Valley City ND. She married her husband of 25 years, Douglas Clemo, on June 1st, 1995. Her interests included reading, writing, gardening, sewing, crafting and joining in community activities such as the local theatre. She also taught ESL to immigrants who had recently become US citizens. She participated as a board member and team captain for Relay for Life, raising funds for cancer research. She was also a parent advocate for young children in the Region Six Headstart program. She is proceeded in death by her parents, George and Mary Schudar (Bommersbach); niece Patricia Harms (Schudar). She is survived by her husband Douglas Clemo, her children Kevin (Heather) Schudar, Cooperstown, ND; Miranda (Robert) Smith, Houma, LA; Katlyn (Josiah) Erickson, Fargo, ND, many grandchildren; brothers, Cliff (Marge) Schudar, Forman, ND; Tom Schudar, Forman, ND, Chuck (Candy) Schudar, Tennessee; Dennis Schudar, Hankinson, ND and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. The celebration of life will take place at The Eagles on Friday, July 31st at 4 pm where the family invites anyone to come and share stories of Lisbeth and have fellowship.
