JANICE MARLENE THERKELSEN

Janice Therkelsen, 64, Cooperstown, ND died Monday August 19, 2019 at home.

Janice was born November 12, 1954, daughter of Richard and Marcella (Willows) Therkelsen. She grew up and attended school in Cooperstown and lived there all of her life. She worked at the Coachman Inn most of her life.

Janice loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, going to casinos and driving around. She really enjoyed her time on the computer and phone time with her grandson Chase.

She is survived by her son, Jason (Wendy), Wamego, KS; one grandson, Chase, Fort Collins, CO; two brothers, Eugene, Cooperstown, Ronnie (Pam), Aberdeen; two sisters, Alice Flaagan (Myron), Fargo, Jeanette Myers (Dean), Cooperstown; one aunt Elaine Willows, Williston; two nieces, Shelly Flaagan, Colleen Elsen (Kevin); two nephews, Randy Myers (Missy), Thomas Therkelsen (Amy); five great-nephews, Tevin, Noah, Isaac, Toby and Shawn; two great-nieces, Maezy and Ella; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gary.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:00 till 11:00 in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Hero Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
