Janice (Bakko) Adrian, 76, beloved wife, mom, grandma, great grandma and friend, passed away on March 8th after fighting a brave battle with cancer.

Janice Bakko was born on February 17, 1949 to Willie and Elna Bakko (Barclay). Janice grew up in rural McHenry and graduated from McHenry High School in 1967. Shortly after, Janice married Leroy Adrian on June 3, 1967. They resided on a farm in rural Binford where they raised 3 children before moving to the town of Binford in 2000.

Janice held various jobs during her adult life, but working 26 years at Red Willow Resort made her the most proud. Janice loved to cook, bake, play cards and to spend time with family and friends. Janice also loved Elvis Presley, watching hummingbirds, jewelry, going to the casino and flowers with yellow roses being her favorite.

Janice is survived by her husband of 57 years Leroy Adrian. She is also survived by her 3 loving children: Bonnie Skaufel, Rhonda (David) Saxberg and Cory Adrian; 7 Grandchildren: Terrah (Matt) Flatt, Shawn Skaufel, Oxanna (Chris) Krabbenhoft, Jessica (Ty) Overby, Cody (Maddie) Overby, Jesse (Cathy) Saxberg and Jackson Saxberg; 10 Great Grandchildren: Ayden, Logan, Davion, Treyvon, Lyam, Lennyn, Aiden, Kaylis, Quincy and Emery. Janice also leaves behind her siblings: Gloria, Wayne, Marvin, Marilyn, Ronald, Joyce and sister-in-law Lois.

Janice was preceded in death by parents Willie, Elna and step-mother Helen Bakko; siblings Roger, Gerald, Lyle, Marlene, brother-in-law Larry, son-in-law Dewey, Leroy parents, Martin and Mabel and step-father, Lawrence.

Janice's Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Binford on Thursday, March 13th at 2:00 pm with visitation to begin 1 hour prior. Interment will take place at a later date.

Janice will be missed deeply by her family, friends and all that were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
