GLENNA M LARSON

Glenna Mae Elaine Larson, 94, Cooperstown, ND passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at the Cooperstown Medical Center, Cooperstown, ND.

Glenna Mae Elaine (Oien) Larson was born on May 7th, 1928, daughter of Frederick and Olive (Gilbertson) Oien in Cooperstown, ND. She attended Binford School and graduated in 1946.

Glenna Mae was united in marriage to Halvor Larson on October 31, 1948 in Binford, ND. The couple owned a dairy and grain farm and farmed in the Binford area their entire married life until retirement.

Glenna Mae was an active member of Bethany Free Lutheran Church. She enjoyed mowing her big yard, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, shopping and most of all socializing!

Glenna Mae's pride and joy were her grandchildren, and her favorite time of year was Christmas.

She is survived by her seven children Galen (Renee) Aneta, ND, Loretta (Mike) Hazen, ND, Bradley (Lanita) Jamestown, ND, Lennis (Shelley) Fargo, ND, Blaine (Joan) Cooperstown, ND, Colleen (Tom) Bellingham, WA, Sonya (Terry) Cooperstown, ND, one sister Florence Thune, Fargo, ND and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Glenna Mae was preceded in death by her husband Halvor, her parents, an infant daughter, five brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.

Visitation will be  Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND.  Visitation will continue Monday, October 3, 2022 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the Bethany Free Lutheran Church in Binford, ND.  Interment will be in the Bethany  Cemetery, rural Binford, ND.
