ERVIN L. VOGT

Ervin L. Vogt, 85, died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his home in Cooperstown, ND. 

Ervin Leslie Vogt was born September 25, 1938 in Cooperstown, ND the son of Earl and Susie (Walks) Vogt.  He grew up in Cooperstown, ND and graduated from Cooperstown High School.  Ervin listed in US Army in December of 1959 and was honorably discharged in August of 1960.  He attended Wahpeton Trade College for several yeas. He worked for the BNSF before returning to Cooperstown to work with his father at Earl’s Motors.  He worked for Sheyenne Tooling before retiring.

He is survived by his sisters; Darlene DeWall, Williamsburg, VA, Carolyn (Steve) Pitt, Monroe, GA, many nieces and nephews and his good friend Bill Wallace.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earl Jr.; sister, Shirly Kalland; brothers-in-law, Wallace Anderson, Irvin Kalland and Herb DeWall.

A Celebration of Life will Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 2:00 till 4:00 pm in the  Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND.  Interment will be in the Fargo National Cemetery, Fargo, ND
