DUANE “DUMPY” LOUDEN

Duane Orin Louden, 81, Cooperstown, ND died September 16, 2020 in the Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown, ND. 

Duane was born June 4, 1939 in Mercy Hospital in Valley City, ND the son of Orin (Deke) and Helen (Lien).  He grew up and attended school in Cooperstown, ND where he graduated for Cooperstown High School in 1957.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church.

He married Connie Skjeret May 1, 1965 in Walum, ND.  The couple made their home in Cooperstown.  Dumpy  worked for V-W Motors for 35 years before retiring.

Dumpy was a HUGE New York Yankee’s fan and enjoyed goose hunting in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, Cooperstown, ND; sons Joshua (Gena), West Fargo, ND; Jacob, Cooperstown, ND; Grandchildren, Zakery (DeLanie), Waylon and Marlee Louden.

Dumpy was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Darrel.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
