Dennis D. Rhone

Dennis Doyle Rhone, 80, died at Cooperstown Medical Center, Cooperstown ND surrounded by loved ones on December 31, 2018.
 

He was born March 2nd, 1938 to Lydia and Doyle Rhone at their home. He attended a country school until the 8th grade.
   

After school he worked for a farmer by Fessenden ND then on to construction. When he turned 18 he was drafted into the Army on November 16th, 1956. When he was discharged he held several different jobs including working on missile sites, Bill's Standard Station, Cenex Land O' Lakes, Sheyenne Tooling and the Lumber Mart.

He married Joann Lemar on October 24th 1964 in the Saint Margaret Mary Catholic church in Drake ND. The couple made their permanent home in Cooperstown ND in 1965 and later had two children.

 Dennis was involved with the Cooperstown Fire Department for 17  years and enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his very special dog, Chevy.

He is servived by his wife of 54 years; daughter, Denise (Jeff) Willson, Sanborn ND; son Michael Rhone, Bloomington, MN; 5 grandchildren, Kayla (Dylan) Zajac, Cooperstown ND, Karli Willson, Fargo ND, Macy Willson, Sanborn ND, Andrew Rhone, Plymouth MN, and James Rhone, Bloomington MN; 3 great grandchildren Barrett, Nova Jo, And Wesson; brother Konnie (Judy) Rhone, Watford City ND.

Dennis was proceeded in death by his parents; a sister, Darby Dell Rhone; brother Lanny Rhone.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm till 7:00pm in the St. George Catholic Church, Cooperstown, ND and continue Monday, January 7, 2019 from 9:30 am till 10:30 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am in Church. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday in the Church.  Interment will be in St. George Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
