CRAIG ROBERT SANDVIK

Craig “Trigger” Robert Sandvik, 30, Fargo, ND passed away on June 9^th, 2018 in peace and comfort at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Craig was born to Kenneth and Randi Sandvik on June 18^th, 1987 in Cooperstown, ND. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cooperstown. Craig attended Griggs County Central School and graduated in 2006. He later attended Northland Community & Technical College and graduated in 2008, earning his degree in Auto Body Tech. He also attended North Dakota State University in hopes of earning a degree in Engineering. As of late, Craig enjoyed working at Caterpillar.

Craig was an outdoorsman – hunting, fishing, looking for shed antlers and cruising in his Ford pickups were some of his favorite past times. He enjoyed NDSU Bison tailgating and games, and loved attending gun and car shows. Craig always had a good joke up his sleeve that would put a smile on anyone’s face. Most importantly, Craig loved and cherished his family and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice Nornes and Arne and Lorraine Sandvik; aunt, Diana Haaland; uncle, Wayne Sandvik; and cousin, Cassidy Andel.

Craig will be loved forever and greatly missed by his parents, Kenneth and Randi Sandvik of Cooperstown, ND; siblings, Steven (Kari) Strand of Eden Prairie, MN, Jeremy (Destiney) Sandvik of Devils Lake, ND, Shawna (Matt) Monson of Cooperstown, ND and Bethany (Dustin) Eberhardt of Cooperstown, ND; grandmother, Gladys Nornes of Cooperstown, ND; five nieces; seven nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4:00 till 6:00 in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND, Visitation will be continue from 10:00 till 11:00 followed by a Memorial Service June 15, 2018 at 11:00 in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cooperstown, ND.  Interment will be in the Cooperstown Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
