CHRISTINE ANN AMUNDSON

Christine Amundson, 44, Kensal, ND passed away at her home, Tuesday,  March 22, 2022 at her home, rural Kensal, ND. 

Christine was born to Dennis and Susan (Bunnell) Amundson on July 29, 1977 in Superior Wisconsin.

She attended elementary schools in Douglas County, Wisconsin and the Finley-Sharon school in ND.  While attending high school in Finley ND. 

She met and married Freddy Gille they made their home in Valley City ND. Christine gave Freddy three beautiful children Cruize (Calley) Gille,  Mercidez (Jordan) Lunn and Josselyn Gille.   After their divorce she returned to the Finley ND area.

Christine held a variety of jobs most notably as a CNA at the Care Center in Valley City ND and most recently as a home maker caring for her special friend Ben Rowell and his daughter Laikyn.

Christine is survived by; her children, and grandchildren, Cam Maverick, Axell, Eli, Kennedy, Kingsley: mother; Susan (Dennis) Laaksonen: brothers; Byron (Debbie) Mickelson and Jason Amundson: sisters; Sandy Braaten, Angela Overby, Nancy (Rollin) Dollens, Denise (Jerald) Rosnow, Tracy Mickelson and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Christine is preceded in death by Helmer Amundson- paternal grandfather, Christine Nordbo - paternal grandmother, Alice Williams - maternal grandmother  John Bunnell - maternal grandfather - Darin Amundson - brother  Dennis Amundson -father Marcus Mickelson- nephew -Travis Mickelson- nephew.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10:00 till 11:00 am in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Cooperstown, ND followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.  Interment will be in the Finley Cemetery, in the spring of 2022.
