ARDIS M. STOREBO

Ardis Mae Storebo, 83, Finley, ND died Monday, July 08, 2019 in the Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND.

Ardis was born February 27, 1936 near Sharon, ND the daughter of Clarence and Annie (Bjerke) Lyste, she grew up and attended Beaver Creek #1, Sharon High School and Aakers Business College in Fargo.

She married Gerald Storebo June 24, 1964 in Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, rural Hatton, ND. The couple made their home in Finley, ND where they raised their four children, James, Julie, Jerry and Jan.  She worked for Finley-Sharon schools as a cook/dishwasher for 31 yrs., retiring in 1990.  The couple moved to Sun Center Assisted Living in May of 2016 and into Luther Memorial Home in August of 2016 where she resided with he husband until the time of her death.

She enjoyed visiting, playing cards and drinking coffee (out of whoever’s cup was within reach).

She is survived by her husband, Gerald, sister, Marion Ronholm, children, James (Athena), Julie (Chris) Mostad, Jerry (Kelly), Jan (Paulo) Peters; grandchildren, John (Madison) Storebo, Ben Mostad, Maggie Godfrey, Brandon Storebo, Grant Storebo, Brady Storebo, Brock Storebo, Nikolas Peters, Derek Peters.

Ardis was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Viola, Doris, Marion, brothers, Arvid, Curtis, Orlo, Floyd, Christian, two infant sisters and granddaughter, Brooke Godfrey.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND, it will continue Friday, July 12, from 1:00 till 2:00 followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in the Finley Lutheran Church, Finley, ND.   Interment will be in the Finley Cemetery.
