Hazel Rue

HAZEL RUE Hazel Rue, 83 of South St. Paul, MN formerly of Sharon, ND died in the Cerenity Care Center, St. Paul, MN. Hazel Engen was born July 11, 1927 in Finley, ND the daughter of Conrad and Lillian (Severson) Engen. She grew up and attended school there, graduating from Finley High School in 1945. She married Sam Rue July 3, 1947 in Finley, ND. The couple farmed in the Sharon area their entire married life. Sam passed away October 20, 1994. Hazel continued to maker her home in Sharon until 2005 when she moved to St. Paul, MN. She is survived by three daughters; Carlotta (John) Jones, Woodbury, MN; Christine Lewis, Billings, MT; Colleen (Jim) Baltes, Moorhead, MN; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers; Conrad (Elaine) Engen, Perham, MN; Charles Engen, Finley, ND; Kermit Engen, Sharon, ND; a sister, Norma Godfriaoux, Fremont, CA; a sister-in-law, Rose Rue, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sharon, ND. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 till service time in the Church. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sharon, ND.
