SANDRA I. GOTFREDSON

Sandra I. Gotfredson Sandra Gotfredson, 68, Cooperstown, ND left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 16, 2016. Sandra, was born June 22, 1948 in Cooperstown to Clinton and Evelyn (Flick) Dahl. She grew up in the area and graduated in 1966 from Cooperstown High School. After graduation she attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. Sandra married Virgil Gotfredson on December 27, 1968 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cooperstown. Sandra worked at the Coachmen Inn for over thirty years cooking and waitressing, and when she was not there she was cleaning at Sheyenne Tooling and Manufacturing, the Griggs County Nursing Home, or cleaning homes for individuals around town. Sandra was best known for her kind and gentle heart. She was a woman of simple needs and put her family first and herself last. She willingly helped take care of her grandmother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and mother when they needed assistance in their later years. She was an avid reader of romance and mystery books, watching and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins, and spoiling her puppies, Foxy and Buford. Sandra is survived by her brother, Ronald G. Dahl and sister, Connie (John) Swenson of Cooperstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents , father-in-law and mother-in-law Hans and Esther Gotfredson, all of Cooperstown and Aunts and Uncles Berneice & Harvey Breimon of Camas, WA, Clayton & Iona Dahl of Merrifield, MN, Donald & Illa Hines of Brainerd, MN, and Uncle Donald Flick of Camas, WA. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Grace Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be Friday September 23, 2016 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Church. Interment will be in the Cooperstown Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND
