ADA WEBER Ada Emma Weber, 96, Chicago, died June 8, 2016 at Bethesda Home, Chicago, Il. Ada was born March 21, 1920 to Martin and Louise (Schmitke) Krenz in New Rockford, ND. She graduated from New Rockford High School and Valley City Teachers College. She taught for several years at rural North Dakota schools near New Rockford and Binford. On March 1, 1944, Ada married Rueben Weber. They farmed and lived near Sutton, ND until retirement in 1990, when they moved to Cooperstown. Rueben died in March 2003. Ada moved to the Cooperstown Assisted Living Center in 2005 and later to the Cooperstown Nursing Home. In 2010 she moved to Bethesda Home in Chicago. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and church activities. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Cooperstown. Ada is survived by a son Timothy (Marietta) of Sutton, ND; daughters Elaine (John) Pascu of Princeton, NJ, Lois Harb of Oak Park, Il, and Susan Weber of Chicago, Il; three grandchildren Kathryn Harb, Matthew Harb, and James Harb; sisters Loretta Wilsmann, Manitowac, Wi, and Vera Mae Leitzke, Phoenix, Az, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rueben, son Larry Weber, son-in-law Russell Page, brother Edgar Krenz, sister Olga Pautz, sister-in-law Meta Krenz, brothers-in-law Henry Pautz, Donald Wilsmann, and Glenn Leitzke. Visitation will be Friday June 17, 2016 from 5:00 till 7:00 at Quam Plaisted Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND. A prayer service will be held Friday, June 17 at 7 PM at Quam- Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Cooperstown, ND. The funeral will be Saturday, June 18 at 10:30 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, Cooperstown. Interment will be Saturday in the Cooperstown Cemetery.
