PEARL E. VIG

PEARL E. VIG Pearl was born in Solway, MN the daughter of Otto and Olga (Stusrud) Johnson, September 4, 1924. Later they moved to McVille, ND where she attended school. She graduated for Mayville High School where she attended her junior and senior years of school. Pearl attended Mayville Teachers College and taught one year at a rural Tolna, ND school. She married Allan (Joe) Vig August 12, 1944 in McVille, ND. They farmed the family farm by Sharon, ND. They started going south for warmer weather with Florida their first choice in 1972. In 1974 they moved to the southwest climate of Tempe, AZ where they resided for 17 years and later moved to Mesa in 1993 where they enjoyed many more winters of dancing and golf. Pearl was resident of the Aneta Parkview Healthcare Center since October 2013, she passed away there Saturday, February 27, 2016. Pearl is survived by three sons, Jack (Mary) , McComb, OK, Don (Darcee) Valley City, ND, Dean (Anne) Sharon, ND five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 4:30 pm in the Trinity Cemetery, rural Sharon, ND.
