MARY A. PFEIFER

MARY PFEIFER Mary Pfeifer, 83, Cooperstown, ND died Monday, June 15, 2015 in the Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown, ND where she has lived since November of 2012. Mary Ann was born July 15, 1931 in Hatton, ND the daughter of Oscar and Gladys (Gunderson) Gilberts. She grew up on a farm east of Hatton and graduated from Hatton High School in 1949. She married Frank Pfeifer April 29, 1954 in Cooperstown, ND. The couple farmed SW of Cooperstown until 1985 when they moved into Cooperstown. Mary worked as a Nurses’ Aide at the Griggs County Hospital and Nursing Home for many years. She is survived by her daughters, Jan (Dale) Trosen, Larimore, ND, Laurie (Bryan) Nelson, Grand Forks, ND; son Timothy (Laura), Bottineau, ND; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brother, Gordon (Arlene) Gilbert, West Fargo, ND; sister, Vernita Bubar, Marysville, WA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; daughter, Linda Diane, grandsons, Nathan Joseph, brothers, Bennett, Oscar Jr., Dale and Graydon. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 18, 2105 at 10:30am in the St. George Catholic Church in Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 till 7:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home and one hour before services in the Church. Interment will be in St. George Catholic Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
