ANITA O. ANUNDSON

Anita left this world to be with the Lord on February 11, 2015 peacefully in her home. Anita was born on January 2, 1915 to Frank and Julia Lindle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the oldest of three children. In 1936 Anita married Phillip Schacht in Milwaukee. They had three boys and one daughter. In 1952 they moved to North Las Vegas. Anita enjoyed being a stay at home mom. After her children were grown, she took a job at Broadway Department Store in Las Vegas. Phil passed away in 1978. In 1986 Anita married Hans Anundson in Las Vegas. They later moved to Hannaford, North Dakota and from there they bought a house in Cooperstown, North Dakota. Hans passed away in 1996. Anita continued to live in their home until her death. In 1997, Anita met her special friend Art Eslinger. They enjoyed traveling, spending time together with family and friends, car drives, music, Yahtzee, and church functions. Anyone who ever met Anita could tell you her smile could melt your heart. She loved the Lord and he saw fit to give her over 100 years on this earth. Anita will be sorrowly missed by all her friends and family. Especially Art Eslinger and Debbie Dahl. She is survived by one son, Danny (Mary) Schacht of Las Vegas, NV; One daughter in law, Judith Schacht of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, Wayne (Sondra) Miller, Ron (Staci) Miller all in Las Vegas, NV. Keri (Doug) Ohl, Amber Coleman of Henderson, NV; Troy and Todd Schacht of Las Vegas, NV, Dawn (John) Hendrickson of Las Vegas, NV. Three great grandchildren, Raina Miller, Anthony Hilt and Ashleigh Hilt. Anita was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Julia Lindle, brother Frank Lindle, sister Betty, two sons Richard Schacht and Phillip Schacht Jr., daughter Marsha Coleman. Funeral services will be, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Faith Lutheran Church, Hannaford, ND, Visitation will be one hour before services. Interment will be in the Faith Cemetery.
