William Keven Moore of Sheridan WY went home to his Lord on Jan 13 2015. William, son of Wesley and Dorothy (Jacobson) Moore, was born March 14 1957 in Williston ND; the family then moved to Hope ND in 1962. After graduating from high school, he attended Mary College in Bismarck and graduated with an accounting major. William gained certification as a CPA and was employed by Puklik and Swift in Bismarck He moved to Cheyenne WY and continued as a CPA and partner at Moore and Associates, then Co-founded Sterns and Moore PC. Bill later accepted a Board position as the Chief Financial Officer for the Frontier Correctional Systems. As the CFO, Bill was instrumental in the creation of several youth and adult treatment programs, servicing all counties in Wyoming, including but not limited to The Jeffrey C. Wardle Academy and the regional juvenile detention center. Bill served on the Contestant Committee for Cheyenne Frontier Days, was a board member for Meals on Wheels and member of Lions Club. He then moved to Sheridan WY. Bill loved sports, whether attending events or watching them on TV. He was a fan of the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Twins. If you were Bill’s friend you were a friend of his for life. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the ICU staff and Bill’s friends in Cheyenne and Sheridan WY for their loving care and friendship. William was preceded in death by his father Wesley, brother Jeff, grandparents Peter and Elizabeth (Seagren) Jacobson and Orrin and Sophie (Sund) Moore. He is survived by his mother Dorothy, three brothers, Norell (Dana) Moore Homer AK, Terry (Susan) Moore La Habra CA, Randy Moore Minneapolis MN, three sisters Sandra (Tom) Bommersbach West Fargo ND, Janeen Moore, Thunder Bay ON Canada, Wendy Moore (Wes) Billings MT, two aunts Blanche Moore Hope ND and Irene Jacobson Crystal MN, nine nieces and nephews, one great- nephew, one great- niece and his cousins. Memorials can be directed to The American Cancer Society or Charity of one’s choice. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hope, ND.
