JUDY ANN RAHLF

JUDY A. RAHLF Judy Rahlf, 67, Cooperstown, ND passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Judy was born April 4, 1946 in Cooperstown, ND the daughter of Edward and Letha (Bosworth) Wells. She grew up and attended rural school near Hannaford, ND and high school in Cooperstown, ND. She married James Rahlf September 29, 1963 in the Christian Fellowship Church, rural Revere, ND. The couple made their home in Cooperstown, ND where Judy worked at the Westside Motel, Pizza Ranch and the Coachman Inn. Judy was very active in the community helping with the Relay for Life, Farmers Union, Thrivent, Cooperstown Community Club, Sutton Seniors Center, Griggs County Fair Board and many many others. She is survived by husband, Jim, Cooperstown, ND, two sons, Jerry (Tammy), Cooperstown, ND, Bill, Fargo, ND; two daughters, Theresa (Shane) Lien, Sioux Falls, SD, Tracy (Jeff) Larson, West Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Cody and Brady Rahlf, Amanda Haugen, Spencer and James Rahlf, Stephen and Austin Lien, Merdedes Moran, Zachary and Sydney Larson; great grandchild Dominic Haugen and another on the way; brothers, Frances Dean (Pat) Bickel, MacCleny FL, Roger (Kathy) Wells, Welcome, MN, Richy Wells, Des Moines, IA, Richard Turnquist, Sacremento, CA, Ken (Linda) Turnquist, Des Moines, IA; sisters, Cheryl Holloway, Jamestown, ND, Bonnie (Eugene) Pittenger, Cooperstown, ND; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Clara Wells, Don and Letha Turnquist and brother Robert Turnquist. Funeral services will be Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Binford, ND. Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 4:00 till 6:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and continue from 6:30 till 7:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Cooperstown, ND, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church and Friday one hour before services in the Zion Lutheran Church rural Binford, ND. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
