GLADYS LEON Gladys Leon 68, Fargo, ND formerly of Finley, ND died Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Sanford Health in Fargo, ND . Gladys Geneva was born December 10, 1944 in Lockhart, MN the daughter of Carl and Ruby (Foss) Flikka. She grew up and attended school near Gary, MN. She married James Leon December 12, 1969 in Sisseton, SD. The couple made their home in Fargo where Gladys worked as a waitress in several restaurants and cafes. They moved to Grafton, ND where she worked as the Grafton Developmental Center for fourteen years. In 1997 they moved to farm near Finley, ND and Gladys worked as CNA in the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND retiring in 2008. James passed away May 28, 2006. Gladys enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, watching wrestling on TV and baking. She is survived by sons, Mike, West Fargo, ND, Brad (Debbie), Ham Lake, MN, Randy (Love) Fargo, ND; ten grandchildren; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Audrey, Linda, Eleanor; brothers, Les and Gerald. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Finley, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour before services at the Funeral Home.
