RICHARD (RICK) M. STONE

RICHARD (RICK) M. STONE Richard (Rick) M. Stone 73, Hannaford, ND died Saturday, February 2, 2012 in Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Rick was born April 18, 1939, the oldest child of Theodore and Marian (Nelson) Stone of Cooperstown, ND. He grew up and attended school in Hannaford, ND and graduated from Hannaford High School. Rick married Karen Lisowski in 1961. The couple made their home near Hannaford. He farmed the family farm near Hannaford, ND. He worked on the North Slope in Alaska as welder before moving back to North Dakota. The family made their home in Cooperstown. Rick moved to Hannaford in 2003. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and playing guitar. Rick is survived by his children: Jeffrey (Nicole) Stone, Minnetonka, MN; Tracy (Craig) McMillin, Roseau, MN; LeAnn (Walter) Swierczek, Golden Valley, MN; six grandchildren, sisters, Nancy Jamison, AZ, Karol Nagel, Hannaford, ND; brother, Ted (Marlene) Stone, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Michael and infant daughter, Denise. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Faith Lutheran Church, Hannaford, ND.
