SELMA (SALLY) IRENE SINGLER Selma (Sally) Irene Singler, Union City, GA, passed away January 1, 2013 in the Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, GA. Sally was born October 29, 1920 the daughter of Eugene and Ida (Dahl) Pittenger on a farm south of Binford, ND. She grew up there and attended rural school. In her early years, Sally worked as a waitress in Moorhead, MN and for the past several years she worked for AAA Insurance Company in Atlanta, GA retiring in the early 2000. Sally was well known as the neighborhood Avon Lady, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Sally loved the Lord and her Church family; she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Atlanta, GA, where she served faithfully. She is survived by a sister, Marvel Mossestad, West Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leland, Clifford, Helmer, Monroe, Vivian and sisters, Thelma Hubert, Dorothy Sandland and Ethel Hubert. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services. Interment will be in the Binford Cemetery, Binford, ND in the spring.
