LUCINDA (CINDY) ESLINGER

CINDY R. ESLINGER Lucinda Eslinger, 61, Hannaford, ND died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Kindred Hospital in Fargo, ND with her loving husband at her side. Cindy was born May 6, 1951 to Ray and Jeannie (Goehring) Gebhardt in Jamestown, ND. She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1969. Cindy married the love of her life Leland Eslinger, January 17, 1980 in Cooperstown, ND. They made their home in Hannaford, ND. Cindy was a devoted wife. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, baking, fishing and reading. She loved her coffee buddy friends. She always made family and friends welcome, her coffee pot was always on and the diet coke always cold. She worked at numerous jobs over the years but her favorite was being a homemaker. She was a dedicated follower of the Humane Society and Prairie Paws Rescue. Over the years she and her husband adopted many rescue dogs. Cindy will be greatly missed by her husband of 33 years, Leland, Hannaford, ND; mother, Jeannie Gebhardt, Jamestown, ND; brother, Kevin (Gaylene) Gebhardt, Jamestown, ND; father-in-law, Albert Eslinger, Hannaford, ND; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Julie and Neal Johnson, Connie and Nolan Johnson, Cooperstown, ND; Calvin and Connie Eslinger, Allen and Vicki Eslinger, Hannaford, ND; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and most of all her puppies Rags and Indy. Proceeded in death by her father, Ray Gebhardt, mother-in-law, Loretta Eslinger and nephew Jared Johnson. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:30 pm in the Faith Lutheran Church in Hannaford, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Hannaford, ND.
