FRANCES E. JOHNSON Frances Johnson, 87, Bismarck, ND formerly of Finley, Granville, and Grand Forks, ND died Monday, February, 13, 2012 in the Missouri Slope Lutheran Health Care Center, Bismarck, ND. Frances Eyvine Hanson was born September 8, 1924 in Hatton, ND the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Pladson) Hanson. She grew up and attended school in Beaver Twsp. Steele Co., ND. She married Allan “Milton” Johnson April 19, 1945. Frances worked many jobs during her life time, working at the Finley and Grand Forks Air Force Base and Simplot. She married Dale Charron July 26, 1985. She was a very hard worker and felt that everyone else should be doing the same and rest only when the work was done. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and her family always came first. Frances enjoyed embroidering, bingo, jigsaw puzzles and loved to bake and was a member of Finley Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by sons; Larry (Liz), Granville, ND, Lyle, Bismarck, ND; three daughters, Linda (Lance) Johnson, Bozeman, MT, Lonnie (James) Catalina, Olathe KS, LeeAnn (Dale) Neva, Bismarck, ND; seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Andrea Bjerke; brothers, Chester, James, Harry, Kenneth, Arvid, Marvin, Trygve, Roy, and Berthold. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Finley Lutheran Church, Finley, ND. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home and one hour before services in the Church. Interment will be in the Finley Cemetery, Finley, ND in the spring.
