STEPHEN EGEDIUSEN

Stephen Egediusen, 67 of Wahpeton, ND formerly of Finley, ND died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in St. Catherine’s Living Center, Wahpeton, ND. Stephen Egediusen was born in Sharon, ND October 15, 1943 , N.D. the son of Jens & Rachel (Simonson) Egediusen. He grew up on the family farm and school in Finley, ND, and graduated from Finley high school with honors in 1961. Stephen attended college and received his masters degree. He then attended Washington State University in Pullman, WA, where he was working on his doctorate. In 1971 he came home to Finley & worked on the family farm, until home was completely destroyed by fire. He & his dad moved to town where they lived until Steve moved to Fargo for a short time before moving into St. Catherine’s Living Center in Wahpeton, ND. He is survived by his sister-in-law & niece, Maralyn & Brenda Egediusen, both of Denver, Co; aunt, Mae Wolff of Seattle, WA; & several cousins. Steve enjoyed reading & was very interested in politics & world events. He was preceded in death by his parents & brother, Jim. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Finley Lutheran Church in Finley, ND. Memorials can be given to St. Catherine’s Living Center. in Wahpeton, N.D.
